We are a non-profit organization in possession of our 5O1C3 charitable status. We have a vision of helping cancer patients and their families. Our only requirement for helping someone is that they have a diagnosis of cancer, no particular kind, just cancer. With the economy and the uncertain healthcare industry, the concerns of cancer patients are growing. Having cancer is enough, they should not have to worry about gas, power bills etc… Thus, Loving Arms Cancer Outreach, Inc was born. We have a heart for cancer patients and want to make their journey a little easier.
Diana Hurst and Shamichael Traylor Co-Founded Loving Arms Cancer Outreach in 2011. They have a combined 30+ years of experience in taking care of cancer patients as Oncology nurses. Listening to their patients they discovered the needs and challenges cancer brings to the lives of people. They felt the “call” on their lives to reach out and do something to help the people in their community.
Cancer is a tough, life changing experience. Diana and Shamichael want to help make that journey easier. Through every step, from diagnosis through treatment, Loving Arms offer emotional and financial support as well as other services.
Hugs are their specialty, listening with their hearts is their promise!
