Prayers of Affirmation

We pray and speak affirmations to speak God's Word and Promises into our lives.

You can pray any of these prayers and they will be blessings over your life.

Blessings:

“I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Because I have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ, I have placed blessings upon my head and causes me to abound. Because I am listening to the voice of the Lord my God, all of his blessings will come upon me and overtake me.”(Ephesians 1:3; Proverbs 10:6, 28:20; Deuteronomy 28:2).

Faith:

“I am justified by faith and I have peace with God through Jesus Christ my Lord. Because I have faith I am able to please God and I am an heir of the kingdom which he has promised to them that love him.” (Romans 5:1; Hebrews 11:6; James 2:5).

Strength and Courage:

“God’s love has been poured out into my heart through the Holy Spirit who was given to me. I love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my mind. God did not give me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.” (Romans 5:5; Matthew 22:37, 39, 40).

“I give thanks to the Father, who delivered me out of the power of darkness and translated me into the Kingdom of the Son of His Love. Lord you have said that you will never leave me, nor in any way forsake me. So I can courageously say, ‘The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. Whatcan man do to me?’ “ (Hebrews 13:5-6; Colossians 1:13).

Peace:

“Jesus has given me His peace which is not the peace that the world gives. Therefore, I do not let my heart be troubled, or let it be fearful. Because I continue to look to Him, I am radiant; my face is never covered with shame.” (Psalm 34:5-6; John 14:27).

Power:

“I am strong in the power of Jesus’ might, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me.”(Ephesians 6:10, 3:20).

Health:

“I speak against you (name the illness) in the name of Jesus Christ. I declare that I am the blessed and not the cursed. I am well and not sick. No illness will come to me and stay. In the name of Jesus Christ I command (name the illness) to leave my body.” (Psalm 91:9-12).

Prosperity:

“You are the Lord my Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: the Lord my God, who teaches me to profit, who leads me by the way that I should go. I am thankful that you have pleasure in the prosperity of those who serve you. By your grace I will prosper and be in health, even as my soul does prosper.” (Isaiah 48:17; Psalm 35:27; 3John 2).

Ability:

“I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives me strength, might, and power. I am able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me, which is the Holy Spirit.” (Philippians 4:13; Ephesians 3:20).

Wisdom:

“I do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Lord Jesus, because I hear your words and do them, I am like a wise man, whose house withstood might floods and strong winds because I am founded on the rock. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.” (Psalm 119:105; Matthew 4:4, 7:24-25).

Commanding:

“I command you Satan (or demonic force) in the name of Jesus Christ, to have no power over me or my family. You have been disarmed by Jesus Christ. I bind you from touching me with any influence, illness, or difficulty. You must bow to the name of Jesus and leave me and my family alone.” (Ephesians 6:11; Philippians 2:10).

Binding Bad Thoughts and Temptations:

“I am conforming to the image of Jesus Christ. My mind is being renewed by the Word of God and I am able to overcome the things of this word because Jesus who lives in me, who has overcome the world and has given me self-control through the Fruit of the Spirit that abides in me.” (Romans 21:2, 8:29; John 16:33; Galatians 5:22-23).

Rejection and Denial:

“I reject (name the negative statement or thought directed against you) in the name of Jesus. All the promises of God in Him are Yes and Amen. If God is for me no one can successfully stand against me? I am raised with Christ to walk seeking those things which are above.” (2Corinthians 1:20; Romans 8:31; Colossians 3:1).

Life Affirmation:

“Lord, open my heart to the wisdom of God. Give me understanding and insights into living the life You have for me. Work in me a pure heart of integrity and let me see and choose the right road every time with no detours, no dead ends, and no wasted time. I have a divinely ordained purpose and destiny. I am special, made for a specific purpose. Therefore, I will fully align my life with the Word of God.”
