Keeping Satan away from You.

Satan is the devil: the fullness of evil that seeks to destroy all that is holy or good. 2 Timothy 2:26 teaches that the devil sets snares and takes captive people to do his will. John 10:10 shows us that he wants all people destroyed and even killed, to fulfill his will.

Is there any way we can keep Satan from fulfilling his will?

It must be understood that Satan wants all people defeated, devoured, and dead (John 10:10; 1Pet 5:8). His methods for success are slow and easy, using human weaknesses to ensure his final results. We do not have to be taken in by Satan, nor tormented by demons under his control. We can understand the devices these workers of evil use and stop them from taking advantage of us (2 Cor. 2:11).

It has always been God’s will that Satan not be able to harm anyone. In 1 John 5:18 we are told being born of God keeps us and that we cannot be touched by the wicked one. God has made a way we can live free from Satan and evil powers, but it takes effort on our behalf to maintain living in the Spirit. When we use the power of God in us as shown in this study, we can insure that the devil and all demonic influence have no affect on us.

There is a place you can get where Satan can’t touch you.

It is a place where you live holy while using the fruit of the Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and the Armor of God to control demonic powers. It is that place where you take command over Satan in the name of Jesus Christ as you make confessions and declarations over your life. This is a wonderful place where you are in control by using the power of God in you, through the Spirit of God, which you have received through spirit baptism.

The way we become untouchable by Satan and his devices is by living in the Spirit (Eph. 5:25).

It is here, abiding in the spirit, that Satan cannot touch us. He does not have ability in the Spirit of God:

· In the Spirit of God we are protected by the power of God (Jn 10:29-30).

· In the Spirit of God we are able to use the power of God in us:

The Fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 6:22-25)

The Gifts of the Spirit (1Cor. 12:8-10)

The Armor of God (Eph. 6:10-18)

· In the Spirit of God we can take charge over all demonic power (1John 4:4 and Philp. 4:12-13).

· In the Spirit of God we have ability to crucify our flesh (Gal. 2:20; 5:24), then Satan cannot affect you, your flesh is dead.

· In the Spirit of God we can live in the spirit of your mind (Rom 12:12; 1Cor.2:16;

Philp. 2:5).

· In the Spirit of God we can resist Satan in the natural realm (James 4:7; 1Pet 5:9).

· In the Spirit of God we do not have to walk in fear (2Tim. 1:7; Provb. 3:24-26).

Yes there is a place you can go where neither Satan nor demons can bother you!!

It is a place you can be in now, without waiting until you get to heaven. It is a place you are able to stay in and abide, while in this life, if you are willing to do as stated above.

Let’s abide here and keep Satan from attacking at his will.
