Using More Than Three Dimensions

Human beings exist in what we refer to as a three dimensional world. This basically is referring to that which we can see as height, length and depth. We are told in scripture that there is seen and unseen existence 2Corinthians 4:18:

"While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.

For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Because there is more taking place on the earth than just what we can see, it becomes necessary for us as people of faith to have understanding about these "unseen" things and a better understanding about the "seen," that we might function in the world without restraints to keep us from being all we can be for Jesus Christ.

Our existence is not limited to just what we see or experience. There are many levels of existence that are defined in creation. God sent Isaiah to King Ahaz, commanding him to ask for a sign concerning the prophecy that was given to him by the prophet, when God said, “. . .ask it either in the depth or the height above.” (Isaiah 7:11). The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 3:18-19:

“. . .may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and the length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (NKJV)

Dimension Defined

  1. The length, width, height, or depth of something.

  2. Any of the fundamental units (as of mass, length, or time) on which a derived unit is based.

  3. A level of existence or consciousness.

A dimension is a specific level of existence containing energy, matter, or both. Simply stated, a dimension is a specific level of existence. Because dimensions consist of energy and matter, their existence can be either seen or unseen. The entire existence God built into creation consist of seven dimensions which are:

Energy, God, Spirit, Mental, Physical, Time, Space.

The study of dimensions has presented many concepts that cross systems of thought from creationism to mysticism; from religion to physical science. The theories that have emerged describe existence of seven, nine, eleven, and thirteen dimensions. Your acceptance of how many exist, will depend upon your purpose for researching dimensions. This same reasoning determines the titles one would give each dimension. The subjects used to identify the many different lists that exist are due to the different concepts that are presented on the subject. For our purposes, we will rely upon the creator, of which dimensions come from, to give us revelation concerning the number of dimensions in creation.

It is his will for us to grasp what is the “width and length and depth and height,” or dimensions of the “fullness of God.” The number that represents God’s divine fullness is “7”. Seven also represents perfection and completeness [About.com, http://christianity.about.com/od/biblefactsandlists/qt/Bible-Numerology.htm/Seven]. It is interesting that Numerology.com published by Hans Decoz, describes the number seven as the number representing the searcher of truth:

The number 7 is the seeker, the thinker, the searcher of Truth. The 7 doesn't take anything at face value. It is always trying to understand the underlying, hidden truths [Hans Decoz, Numerology.com, http://www.numerology.com/numerology-numbers/7].

In truth, the number of dimensions above seven are breakdowns of what could be described within the seven dimensions discussed in this study. If for some reason you prefer to define dimensions in a greater numeric fashion, it should only be to gain a deeper clarity of the following dimension types.

Using the Dimensions

If it were possible to speak with your the mouth in such a way motion was created as it responds to your voice, this management could be used to overcome things that restrict us from fulfilling God’s purpose. Understanding this is possible, affords you the ability to manage the seven dimensions that God built into creation. It is important that we as people of faith can overcome things that would cause disease, sickness, poverty, hunger, evil, or any other things that keep us from being all we can in life.

God gave mankind dominion over the earth, and told him to subdue it (Gen. 1:28). There are many things that fight against us maintaining this position in God’s heritage. Managing the dimensions has been lost in the fight for human domination. Empires, slavery, male domination, child abuse, sex abuse, wealth control, governments, human power, social persuasion, religious domination, spiritual oppression, murders, crime, domestic problems, misguided education, and many other such things have taken the place of man’s true domination. If we are to manage and control what God has purposed upon the earth, we must be enlightened with understanding and wisdom. The more we understand about the seven dimensions of creation, the more we can learn how to manage them.

The Apostle Paul explains in Ephesians 3:11-20 that the essence of God’s eternal purpose is everyone becoming all things in Christ Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, that works in us. By this we are granted strength and knowledge to become all the fullness of God. We are made capable by the power of Jesus’ name, to reach beyond the simplicity of human existence and access blessings in heavenly places (Eph. 1:3). We have been made to sit in heavenly places (Eph. 2:6), which positions us to have boldness and access with confidence in our abilities through Christ Jesus (Eph 3:17). When Jesus illustrated moving a mountain in Matthew 17:20, he further said nothing would be impossible for any who would believe, to include actually move the mountain. Knowing these things, we can use our abilities in Christ to manage motion and spirit conditions thereby do all things through Christ who is our strength (Philippians 4:13).

Here are some simple concepts of the seven dimensions:

Energy – the creative source causing movement and activity

God – God the Father provides us with all protection, mercy, grace, and love.

God the Son provides us with salvation, renewal, and regeneration toward God.

God the Spirit is our circuit to generate all power and ability in creation.

While God the Father and Jesus the Son gives to us all the characteristics of God, God the Spirit provides our ability to use the dimension of God. Through the Holy Spirit, we are able to access the things of God and actually use His abilities and resources. By the Holy Spirit, we are given access to all the resources in seven dimensions. This is how we are able to achieve what the Bible refers to as “all in all” (Colossians 3:11).

Spirit – the source of our being, giving us movement in the seven dimensions.

We are a spiritual being living in a mortal body.

There are other spiritual beings such as angels, demons and Satan; and animals.

Mental – the consciousness of our being that holds knowledge, wisdom, understanding, reasoning and emotions.

Physical – The material realm. All things seen and touchable.

The natural body that houses our being and allows us to function and be.

Time – The measure by which we identify experiences and events in the material realm.

Space – The product of creation that houses volume and existence.

Understanding how the seven dimensions work together gives us access to fulfill God’s purpose for all creation. Each dimension contributes to each other, making it possible for human beings to move and have their being in God. This is the purpose of all creation. God’s will is his purpose for creation and we can choose to use the revelation God provides us to fulfill his purpose.

Once a person is saved by believing in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, and then they receive the power that comes from being filled with the Spirit, through baptism of the Spirit, that person is equipped to receive the truths of wisdom and understanding in the things of God. Experience and fellowship with other Christian people exposes them to a corporate level of faith as they grow in Christ Jesus. The revelation they gain from these experiences make it where they can identify the energy source for any situation, whether good or bad. If they recognize any bad energy, then they can control it through the abilities we have through the Gifts of the Spirit (1Cor. 12:1-10). We can change the effects of any attacks from sickness, danger, calamity, or demonic activity by using our abilities in Christ and claiming the power we have through the Armor of God (Eph 6:10-18). We can enhance our quality of life by practicing the Fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22) as we show God’s character in our lives and community.

In the power of the name of Jesus and by the anointing of the Holy Spirit in us (the God Dimension), we can extract and control any negative energy, while we inject positive energy (Energy Dimension). Using the conscious knowledge we gain from the Mental Dimension, we can recognize and “try the spirits” (1John 4:1) of the Spirits Dimension, that protect or invade our lives (the Physical Dimension). This recognition makes it possible to speak with our mouths (physical) and command the spirit’s activity (energy) to move in the power of Jesus’ name to bring lasting (Time Dimension) effects on any part of existence (Space Dimension).

  • Sickness and diseases can be controlled and overcome by the power we have through the Gifts of the Spirit and the Armor of God.

  • Goodness of the Fruit of the Spirit can change the direction of a person’s life from a path of misdirection and evil, to a purpose filled life that blesses all they come in contact with.

  • The revelation of God provides us with wisdom and understanding that opens up the secrets of creation, allowing us the ability to enlarge our abilities to function in all of creation.

  • When the evil day is upon you, either by people, circumstances, or oppression, you can use the authority of the Gifts of the Spirit and the Armor of God to defeat and command all energy or forces to triumph over the evil.

  • To generate the blessing of God in one’s life you must use the resources God has put in place. This requires knowledge and understanding in truth according to God, not religion or the traditions of men.

  • Using the resources God placed in all seven dimensions of creation, we can manage all sources that affect life. We are capable of maintaining God’s purpose for creation as we become the fullness of God. In this way we complete His will upon the earth.

  • We do not have to put up with things that would come against us. By the power and energy that is under our control through the Gifts of the Spirit, the Fruit of the Spirit, and the Armor of God, we can take charge over anything. This is why “we can do all things for Christ, who strengthens us”. We should bypass the war and go straight to the heavenlies. In this way Satan nor demonic can interfere. This is how we become “all in all” and the “fullness of God” in a world of human existence.

God Transcends all Dimensions

God exists in all seven dimensions. David wrote in Psalm 139:7-10:

“Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presences? If I ascend into heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, you are there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.” [NKJV]

There is nowhere you can go that God is not there; he is in every dimension; he is all in all. It has always been God’s desire that all things are together in Him; read Ephesians 1:9-10. Becoming “all in all” with God is the same thing that people say “becoming one with the universe”. Mankind was created to live in a natural world, but we are capable of being all in all with God, allowing us access to more than just a three dimensional existence.

We can Transcend Dimensions

A dimension is not limited to its own perimeters, but its effects and influences transcends other dimensions. Our five senses limit understanding the seven dimensions because humans generally are not conscious of all seven, handicapping the ability to use what the Bible refers to as “all in all” (1Corinthians 12:6; 15:28; Ephesians 1:23). By expanding our senses we can transcend our natural existence in the physical and mental dimensions, to manage life for a deeper purpose inside every dimension.

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines transcend as:

  1. To rise above or go beyond the limits of

  2. To triumph over the negative or restrictive aspects of overcome

  3. To be prior to, beyond, and above (the universe or material existence)

  4. To outstrip or outdo in some attribute, quality, or power

For one dimension to transcend another, its effects and influence reaches beyond the limits that separates it from the other dimensions. This allows us to benefit from all the effects of each dimension. Energy penetrates every part of creation as it generates from God, who is in every dimension. The Spirit realm moves with ease from natural, to mental, and back to spiritual, while Physical and Mental dimensions require wisdom and understanding to reach beyond their material realms. Time and Space transcend each other as sisters sharing the other’s clothing. Their influences and effects seem to be limited to the material realm, though they appear to be infinite.

One of the best Bible passages that expresses transcending from one dimension to another is Ephesians 1:17-23:

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which he worked in Christ when He raised him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”

In the above scripture the dimension of God, in the forms of the Father of Glory and Jesus the Christ, transcends the Spirit, Physical and Mental dimensions, by giving us his spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowledge while enlightening our understanding. God again uses the dimension of Energy to show us his mighty power through the glory of His inheritance, to those who believe, as he transcends the dimension of Spirit to place all principality, power, and dominion under His feet. God transcends the dimension of Time by naming not of one age, but all ages to come. God is giving his power to every name in all ages, which brings time into a paradox. In his statement of verse 21, God puts time into a continuum where present time and future times are being adjusted into one, making no difference between the two; we call that eternal. He then moves into the Space dimension by placing Jesus as head of the church, bringing a reaction that places God as Christ on the earth as a body that consists of more than one human body; yet while being seated at the right hand of our Heavenly Father. In this one concise statement written by the Apostle Paul, God shows how transcending from one dimension to another is possible. Do not let the magnificence of the this passage of scripture leave you bewildered with feelings of impossibility. The rewarded in this passage is those who believe, as the glorious power being spoken of works through the same who believes. This passage is our declaration of spiritual freedom to transcend from dimension to dimension as we use the power that works in us, just as God transcends dimensions, by the power that works in Him.

This is the reason we are “all things for Him who energizes us,” Philippians 4:13. This scripture is quoted as, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” In the Greek text, it is literally, “I am all things for Him who energizes or strengthens me.” There is nothing we cannot be for Jesus. As he gives us revelation through His Spirit, we are transcending the Physical dimension into the God and Spirit dimensions. When we speak and command things into being we are transcending all seven dimensions. We hear with our spiritual ears (Spirit dimension) and understand with our mind (Mental dimension) what God (God dimension) is showing us through revelation, and by faith we accept it as truth. We speak with our mouth (Physical dimension) in the name of Jesus, as the command becomes a power (Energy dimension) it manifests the revelation into something in the material realm (Time and Space dimension). Anytime someone speaks in faith, by the power of the name of Jesus, whether for healing, wisdom, understanding, financial need, or human ability, the above dimensional process takes place.

The Catalyst for Transcending is the Spirit

Our catalyst for transcending dimensions is the Holy Spirit. It is by the Spirit we have access to God.

  • Ephesians 2:18, “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

  • Ephesians 6:16, “That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.

The way we gain access to the Spirit is through Jesus Christ. "For through Him (Jesus Christ) we both have access by one Spirit to the Father" (Eph 2:18). By faith we accept the sacrifice of Jesus as our payment for sin and we have access to the Spirit of God. Then by being filled or baptized in the Spirit we have access to God, by whom we can move and have ability in all seven dimensions. Acts 17:28 says, “In God we move and have our being.”

All of our “being” rests in God as he created us to be. Creation does not limit us to a three dimensional understanding of Body, Soul, and Spirit; but our being exists from the effects of all seven dimensions. Energy surges through our bodies that sustains life, starting with the small electrons in an atom’s structure. This same energy continues pumping our heart as it pulsates blood through our brain. Motion of our muscles and the movement of our digestive system, with the constant breathing in and out of air, is the result of the energy that is given to us by God which started when he breathed in to us and made us a living soul. In our spirit, also known as our soul, God breathed the breath of life that started man living (Genesis 2:7), and it is His sustained energy in us that maintains our being (Hebrews 1:3), our body and mind. Then he created time and space as a place for us to exist in life. As we come into the knowledge of who God is we accept Jesus as our savior. We follow the commands of Jesus and get baptized in water as an open testimony that Jesus is our savior and Lord. From laying on of hands by a spirit filled person, we receive the baptism of the Spirit, and we are now spirit filled. It is in this entire process, we do move and have our being in God, allowing us to transcend all seven dimensions.

Love of God Motivates Transcending Dimensions

Love is not a dimension, it transcends all seven dimensions.

The Bible says to “love the Lord with all your soul (heart), mind, and strength” in Deuteronomy 6:5 and Mark 12:30. Another way to say is to love the Lord with all you spirit, mind, and body. For you to do this you would be transcending three of the seven dimensions: Spirit, Mental, and Physical. Because God first loved us (1John 4:19; Romans 5:8) God the Father and Jesus the son moved in our behalf to bring us salvation and relationship. We in return love them and love has its full circle.

Here is how love transcends the dimensions.

  1. Love is the strongest force – Power dimension.

  2. Love moves the heart of God – God dimension.

  3. Love unites our spirit with God’s spirit, and defeats Satanic spirits, and connects human spirits – Spirit dimension.

  4. Love penetrates our mind to truth and acceptance – Mental dimension.

  5. Love is why life was created in the physical – Physical dimension.

  6. Love is the beat of time – Time dimension.

  7. Love fills all space as the “all in all” – Space dimension.

1 Corinthians 13:1-10, 12-13

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have [the gift of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long [and] is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether [there are] prophecies, they will fail; whether [there are] tongues, they will cease; whether [there is] knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. ... 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these [is] love. [NKJV]

There is no greater example in the Bible to show the need for using the way love transcends all the dimensions. Every part of human existence and universal purpose abides here, in the Love of God. Love is what motivated him to create and love is what works in creation to reflect that what God gets back for his good pleasure. It is here, in God's pleasure and purpose, we are able to understand and have our ability to use all seven dimensions. God's love for us and his will is resulting in all things coming together under Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:5-10).

How to Manage Dimensions

As people come into the revelation and knowledge concerning the seven dimensions, that knowledge becomes the fullness of God in their ability to perform anything for the kingdom of God. This oneness with God generates spiritual and mental ability to manage motion and energy for a physical manifestation, according to their anointing and callings in the Body of Christ. The more a person will recognize their abilities and learn to activate them the greater outcome you will have with signs, wonders, and miracles. The more dimensions you become involved with the greater affects you will bring upon any manifestation. This is what happened when Jesus did in Luke 4:18-19:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”

We manage dimensions in the same way when we pray for healing:

  • We speak aloud with our mouths for healing in our bodies, in power of the name of Jesus.

  • Microscopic mater succumbs to the command for healing in the Physical dimension.

  • The Spirit dimension moves in the Power dimension, because of the power that exist in the name of Jesus; and the organisms or matter that contains sickness, disease, or decay, becomes new.

  • Then we have signs, wonders, and miracles manifested from one dimension to the other, Ephesians 3:14-21.

  • We use the Fruit of the Spirit, the Gifts of the Spirit, and the Armor of God to ensure we do all things necessary to sustain the earth, protect humanity, generate peace, overcome evil, improve all life, and grow in understanding and abilities.

Everything in existence should show forth the glory of God: our purpose, our resolve, our dreams, and our outcomes. These all should be use to glorify God and build the Kingdom of God. Revelation 4:11 sums up management and use of creation:

“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Jesus showed us how to manage the dimensions.

When Jesus took the five loaves and two fish in Matthew 14:13-21 and fed five thousand, the Bible says that Jesus took them and, “looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke and gave. . .” verse 19.

It was at that moment Jesus, in his spirit, went into the heavenly places and took blessings in the heavenly places, of which he blessed the loaves and fish to be multiplied.

When the disciples needed to pay temple taxes in Matthew 17:24-27, Jesus told Peter to cast a hook in the water, catch a fish, and in the fish’s mouth was the money to pay the tax. Jesus reached into the “blessings in heavenly places” and blessed the disciples with finances to pay their taxes.

When there was a need for more wine at the wedding in John 2:1-11, Jesus manifested (verse 11) his glory by receiving blessings from the heavenly places and turned water into wine.

All that Jesus did (Matthew 11:5-6) was accomplished because Jesus understood he could go into the heavenly places in his spirit and bring the blessing to the people.

Jesus commanded us to do these same things in Mark 16:15-18.

He said in John 14:12, “ he who believes in me, the works that I do he will also: and greater works than these he will do also…”

He said nothing is impossible for us to do. . Matthew 17:20. This verse has become a spiritual metaphor and it is not!!!. If we can move a mountain, we can go into the heavenly places and bring back blessings for mankind. Nothing is impossible!!!!!

As we move and have our being in God, it is not enough to hear, see, and do, we must have consciousness of the things of God so we become like Him. In so doing we are the sons of God, and heirs in his will and purpose. A deeper awareness of these things is what God desires for all people. He wants us to use all of His creation to fulfill His purpose in us, not just exist in a three dimensional world; but remain ever present in all seven dimensions by the power we have through the Holy Spirit. God wants us to learn how to grow in our consciousness of the creation and sense the "unseen" things, so we are aware of ways to solve all needs and necessities of life. He left it up to mankind and has given us the power to do whatever we must. With this knowledge we must begin to practice it, and become good at managing the dimensions in our existence.
