Have you ever wondered why God takes so long to do something?
It seems that God gives you specific words of revelation, even making promises that will confirm to you God is working in your life, but then, you have to wait. You were sure that the things God told you were going to take place then, in the season you were in at the time. The Holy Spirit confirmed the revelation and you just knew those things were going to take place and you start imagining how they are going to manifest. You start looking in the Bible for more confirmations and you pray, asking the Lord to give you direction and understanding. Days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months as you continue waiting upon the Lord to fulfill the revelation He has planted in your being.
You get to thinking, "So why am I still waiting? Lord, just tell me what you are doing so I can know if the revelation you give me is real."
You hear nothing and nothing is happening so you wonder, "Why won't you just tell me Lord, I will believe you?"
It makes you wonder why Jesus does not just come out and tell you what is going on?
If He would just tell you instead of making you wonder?
If He would just make that promised provision instead of keeping you from it.
If He would show you instead of keeping you in suspense.
Then you could walk in the revelation and be doing that thing God planted in you being.
Experience God the Father
God is more to us than just a supernatural being that sits on his thrown in heaven giving out commands. God the Father is our father. He wants to raise us like an earthly father raises his children.
As our Father, God wants to:
Teach us of his ways.
Help us to grow in knowledge and ability.
Enable us to enjoy the blessings He has provided for us.
Walk in relationship with Him.
Become like Him.
Mankind was created in His image in order that our:
Spirit would be in fellowship with His spirit through worship and supernatural power.
Body would be in fellowship with Him as we walk in relationship as His children.
Mind/Soul would be in fellowship with him as we choose to learn His ways and honor Him by doing them.
God wants us to experience Him as we have relationship with Him. In John 4:23-24 Jesus told the woman at the well, "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him."
God as our Heavenly Father wants relationship with him through our worship and love.
God grows us up in His love and understanding by letting us experience him INSTEAD OF only revealing things or only making provision by supernatural means.
He wants us to experience His faithfulness not just have things handed to us. We are told in Psalm 46:10 to, "Be still, and know that I am God." This is because it is in the heart of God for us to know him; for us to walk in relationship with him. God the Father does not will to just be in heaven and hand down His orders and blessings. He wants us to experience his faithfulness through relationship with Him. The struggles and things we experience in our wait for that which God has planted in our being, God uses to show us His faithfulness in all things.
Experience God the Son
As our Lord and Savior, Jesus also desires that we experience the fullness of God. When a lawyer asked Jesus what is the greatest commandment, Jesus answered by quoting from Deuteronomy 6:5, when he said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' [Mat 22:37 NKJV]. He then added the second greatest command saying, "And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'[Mat 22:39 NKJV].
If we are to do these "greatest of commandments" we would be experiencing the fullness of God. The works that Jesus did made it possible that we have Christ in us and we can experience the Son in relationship also.
We have the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22) to overcome ourselves and be more like Jesus, showing the character of God.
We have the Gifts of the Spirit (1Corinthians 12:1-10) to help overcome things in life that would keep us from experiencing the fullness of God.
We have the Armor of God (Ephesians 5:10-18) so we can stand against the wiles of the devil, and experience freedom in Christ Jesus.
The reason Jesus does not just give us what we ask for but has us use these three things and "work out our salvation" is so we experience Him through His works.
Instead of giving us somethings, Jesus has us experience who He is through the gifts and favor He has placed within us.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren [Rom 8:28-29 NKJV].
Jesus is going to use all of our experiences to bring us the goodness and fullness of God and we become conformed to His image instead of just being given his image in its fullness.
Experience God the Spirit
In John Chapter 16 Jesus told the disciples he was going to go away. He said it was to their advantage that he go and that He would send them the Helper, and He started teaching them about the work of the Holy Spirit, which is to guide us in all truth [John 16:13].
INSTEAD of Jesus just giving us all knowledge and understanding He sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us through the experience of learning and growing in God.
We are now capable of being enlightened and shown with a confirmation in our being that what we are experiencing in Christ Jesus is for our good and our spiritual growth.
Instead of Being Idle, Experience God
It is time that you experience in greater ways who you are because of what the Lord has placed within your heart. This is your time to better discover the passions, the purposes, the desires the Lord has given you. As the wind of the Spirit is blowing strong over you right now, He is awakening that which He has placed within you. He will show you the deference between expectations that He DID plant within you instead of the ones He did NOT place in your heart. By His Spirit, He will free you from those things you are not responsible for, and take away your anxiety, leaving you with a calm peace and great joy.
You may have been doing things because you thought that's what is expected by God, only to find out it was not expected by Him.
INSTEAD, the Lord is going to show you this is your season of understanding and awakening for the deep passions and desires that He has planted in you.
INSTEAD, He is going to start bringing these things to pass that you have waited for and remain true to.
This is your great season of God's PERMISSION and FREEDOM.
Where the battle and circumstances have stolen your ability to sustain faith.
When the enemy has come and said "God's not in that, he will never bring it to pass."
Know the Lord will remove the haze and give you CONFIRMATION after CONFIRMATION, that instead of lies of the enemy, He is breathing upon your circumstances with favor and fulfilment of His will to INCREASE you according to His strategy, that is released in you now by the power of God.
That which the Holy Spirit is empowering you with now, brings change that is real and sure.
"Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you, for you have given me the best!" - Psalm 16:6 (The Passion Translation)
You will experience a MAJOR increase of JOY that is breaking forth out of your being, as God right now, is removing the false expectations of how you "thought" things should be, or lies that have told you "things should be this way or that".
INSTEAD the Lord is saying to you, "Things are different now because I fill you with FULL JOY as the boundary lines of My blessings are falling in place. I give you new privileges, new delight, and pleasant pathways."
As you continue to move into this new time of incredible JOY realize that not only is the Lord breathing upon those things in your heart, that you have been really longing for, this new time is also the most life-giving, anointed, refreshing, strengthening season you have ever experienced in Christ. The wisdom, the insight, the strategy the Lord is releasing will to continue to increase your understanding who He is and His goodness.
In this fresh newness you will experience gifts and passions that have been held back until now. You will walk in such freedom that your heart will be declaring out of your mouth, "This is the BEST season of my life so far"!
Those of you who have been plagued by fear of "That can't be God", because of false expectations, the Lord is whispering "You have my permission, it is of Me." As the Lord radically confirms it is time to move forward, throw yourself completely into following the leading of the Holy Spirit, and trust God.
Your priorities will shift as you see a great shaking in the things that plagued by fear. As you trust God more you will see more outpouring, more spiritual encounters, more blessings, and more favor; to the point overflow and extreme becomes so increased you are overwhelmed with joy.
Experiencing the abundant life of John 10:10 will become your fulfillment in this beautiful shifting of God's purpose.
What was stolen, is recovered.
What was killed, is resurrected.
What was destroyed, is restored.
And the curse you were plagued with is removed!
INSTEAD OF waiting, wondering, and fearing, God has now shifted us into experiencing with great expectations and joy the fulfilment of His great promises! Hallelujah!
Never give up! Never Stop! This is OUR TIME!
