Change Your Mind, Change Your Life!

Fruit comes from a root.

Anger was the root, rejection was the fruit in Moses' Life, Numbers Chapter 20.

It kept him out of his promised land.

Caleb did not give himself to the frustration of the wilderness, but he gave himself to the promise given to him by God, through Moses, to have his mountain, Mt Horeb.

He did not live in the blame game, but lived in the promise of God.

The Blame Game:

Look at what you did, you kept me out of the promise.

If I had a better momma and daddy.

If I had a better family.

If I'd been raised with more money.

If I'd had a better change, or a better start in life.

If somebody had of done this, or done that.

You could not control the things that happened to you when you were young and under your guardian's care, but you are not a child any longer and you can choose to do things different. You have control over what you do, what you think, and how you live, what you give yourself to, and what you meditate on. Allow the Holy Spirit to move past your issues.

Romans 7:22-23 Waring against the law of my mind.

The average person has more than 60,000 thoughts per day. It has been discovered that over 80% of these thoughts are negative thoughts.

Remind yourself you are not average, we can change our thoughts to positive thoughts.

You can't have a positive life with a negative mind.

You can't think depressed thoughts and have a positive life.

You can think yourself into depression or you can think yourself into joy.

So, if I can change my way of thinking, I can change my way of living.

The quality of my life is determined by the quality of my thoughts.

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he…Proverbs 23:7.

Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind."

Life can be tough!

The first thing that happens when your born is that somebody slaps you.

If you will let it, even the slaps will cause you to be an overcomer; it can cause you to breath better and deeper; and discover a capability that you never thought you might have. Those deep breaths can cause you to find something in you that you did not know was there before you were slapped.

Everything is not God sent, but everything can be God used! Romans 8:28

But until you hear God's voice louder than anything else in life, louder than anything else that has happened in life, you will have an image problem that causes you to live in a cycle of despair and discouragement. To allow yourself to stay here keeps you in the Groundhog Day saga: everything over and over and over, without any change that brings you to a state of overcoming.

God does not want you to live in a cycle of way up high one day and down low the next. One day your all excited and the next day your all depressed.

God wants us to live a life filled with righteousness, peace, joy and comfort in the Holy Ghost.

We must learn to life in the wilderness without becoming a murmurer.

We must learn to live where God has us without always being upset because the land of promise has not yet come.

If you are going to change your destination in life you have to first change your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:7-13 Get your head in the clouds. God is up high, not down low.

Put your head in the clouds with God, think like he thinks; don't reason like man or religion thinks; don't say what everyone else wants you to say; think like God thinks; place you head in the clouds and don't come down.

Be raised up with God, seated in the heavenlies with him; be raised up far above principalities and powers and rulers of darkness; the devil is under your feet.

If you think God is not saying anything, look at Verse 11. . .

Complaining about a silent God when your Bible is closed is like complaining about not getting text when your phone is turned off.

God's voice is going forth, he is speaking, what are you listening to?

Your life will arrive at the place of your thought life.

Philippians 4:8 Meditate on these things.

Because whatever you think on becomes instinctive.

Whatever controls our mind, controls our life.

I can tell what your perceptions are by the things coming out of your mouth.

If you think on something long enough, you will start talking about it.

What you think on, what you concentrate on, what you invest in, will come out of your mouth, and it will locate where you are.

But if you will change your way of thinking you will change your way of living and where people think you are will not be where you are. You can move out of your sin and move into God's glory and righteousness.

Run and hid from many things; you can avoid people and situations; but where your thinking is, that is where you are!

If you think negative, you will be negative.

If you think depression, you will be depressed.

If you think hard times, you will be in the middle of hard times.

If you change your thinking and turn toward God you can walk in righteousness, joy, peace, comfort, holiness, goodness….

What you believe about you will have more effects on you than what anyone else may say about you. Don't let their words affect your thinking if it is not true. You control your thinking not others.

If my parents had not treated me as they did.

If my parents and family had not let me down.

If those politicians had not done this, or if congress had not done that.

If the preacher would preach better.

If my teachers would teach better.

If I could get a break at work.

If I did not have these money problems.

If I could get my kids to mind.

If my spouse would do this.

If, If, If, If……

You must quit blaming and start Believing in the Promises of God!

Learn to live and walk where you are in Christ until he moves you up, and he will!

You have a responsibility to be a steward over our mind.

Most are aware of being a steward with time, money, and things, but Proverbs 4:20-26 teaches we should be a steward over your heart or mind.

You are the gatekeeper of your heart and your mind, because the issues of life come out of the way you perceive things and the way you see things.

A victim mentality will never enable you to be an overcomer.

A victim mentality continues to empower the one who hurt you or offended you.

They may have moved on in their life, not even knowing what took place, but you continue to empower them and give them authority over your life.

But declare that no more in Jesus name!

This can also be someone that did not do something for you, they let you down, or failed you in some way.

Where to keep our heart (mind) with diligence.

Diligence: steady, earnest, energetic effort, persevering application.

This is not just on Sunday; while in church; with your bible open, after you've been to the alter…

God has given all the tools we need through his spirit, but you have use them on a daily basis.

The biggest threat to the enemy and his kingdom is that you find out who you really are!

Luke 4:14-22 The Spirit is Upon Me!

Verse 22: "This day this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."

Jesus was saying, "This is about Me!" He found himself in the scripture, he learned who he was, and he was not afraid to say it, even in front of those who knew him. Too often those who know us, and especially our family, are not acceptance of who we are in Christ Jesus. But Jesus did not let that stop him.

They said, "Is this not Joseph's son?" Jesus was telling them he was more than just Joseph's son; I am more than my mamma's son; I am more than that dysfunctional person that came out of that bad relationship; I am more than that kid that you did not think would ever do anything. . . .

Here is the revelation…"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; He has anointed me; I have a calling on my life."

Jesus opened up the "book", learned who he was, and proclaimed boldly what the Lord had done in Him, and proclaimed to everyone, "This is who I am."

The people marveled at the gracious words that proceeded out of his mouth, once Jesus had found himself!

It does not matter what your mamma or daddy says; it does not matter what your family, friends, your teachers, your coaches, your boss, or your work associates say; it does not matter what your spouse or ex-spouse, your boyfriend or girlfriend says…..When God's voice becomes louder than any other voice you listen to, a divine shift begins to take place in your life. You will begin to walk in your calling, in your purpose; you will discover who you are!

Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind."

As you allow your mind to be transformed, God will begin to bring out the best in you.

When Jesus discovered who he was, it sustained him in every difficulty he faced.

It kept him on that path to fulfilling his divine purpose. He found himself in the Word; he said this is me; and I'm not backing off of it.

Knowing who he was allowed him to endure those who scorned him, denied, him, abandoned him, whipped him, crucified him. It allowed him the ability to stay on the cross, and compelled him to endure our sins, even unto his resurrection. Knowing who he was took him to the right hand of the Father, where he made his enemies his footstool; where he rules and reigns.

Knowing who you are in God's divine purpose for you will do the same for you.

Luke 10:27 Your mind has the capacity to two things: Remember and Imagine.

Remember: When you love the Lord in your mind, with your capacity of remembering, it enables you to realize and know that by God's grace, anything in my past that the devil would every bring up, has already been put under the blood of Jesus.

Imagine: We are supposed to love God with our imagination also.

John 16:13 The Spirit will tell you things to come. Through the Spirit we begin to collect our predestined inheritance. It's already been paid for. You have an inheritance that has been paid in full.

Your mind has the capacity to remember the past and imagine the future.

Your spirit has an imagination of your future that your mind can struggle to comprehend.

The voice that you believe will determine the future that you experience.

Your born again spirit has memories of things that haven't happened yet but have already been paid for and it's drawing you toward them….

There are times you are in the presence of God and your worshiping him; you're at church or home; it may be in the late night hours and you are seeing things and imagining things; and they are so real on the inside of you; and God is saying this is my divine destiny for you, this is the place that I have chosen for you. I have already bought it and paid for it through my son Jesus and his blood. I am drawing you to this destiny through your spirit imagination.

Get your mind in alignment with what has already been provided by the blood of Jesus. Let the Lord lead and guide you to that place that he has already determined for you.

1John 2:20 "But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things."

You have a born again spirit in you that is connected to God, that knows all things.

That is what is drawing you and pulling you to your divine destiny. God will not let you stay in a state of hopelessness. He won't let you stay in a state of depression. If you are staying there, you care causing it, not God. God is constantly tugging and pulling you away from those things in your mind and in your imaginations. He is continually putting people in your path that can help you overcome and deal with the issues that you've got. You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you can overcome.

Even when things are not as we wished they would be, there is something on the inside of us that is drawing us toward what we know God has already provided in Jesus Christ. So when we come into his presence we start praising him as though there is nothing wrong. We begin to sing, shout, and dance, lift our voices, raise our hands, and His Spirit comes alive inside of us! We are not shouting about things that are wrong, we are shouting about things that are right. We are not shouting about things that have happened against us, but we are shouting about things that have happened that are for us, and the things that will happen in our future, that God has made alive in our spirits.

There is something in me that is drawing it out! We are shouting about what we are seeing in our spirit.! You can't see it through the natural, you must be renewed in your mind and imagination, then you will see it.

Believe God, that there is something in your future that you cannot always see in the natural though and no matter what anyone else would think about it, continue to believe God in it. Continue to meditate on it.

The promises of God are Yes, and Amen. (2Corinithians 1:20)

See yourself like God sees you!

You are who God says you are!

You can do what God says you can do!

You are an overcomer in Christ Jesus!

Don't let what you see out there dominate what you see in here (your spirit).

Let what you see in here (your spirit) dominate what you see out there.

You tell our critics and everybody in the religious community that does not understand this "I don't think like you think, I think like God." "I'm not talking like you talk, I talk like God."

Declare these things over yourself:

God is going to bless my business, my work, my family, my wife, my children, myself.

God is going to bless what I put my hand to do.

God is going to bless everywhere I place my feet.

God has good things in store for me.

God is going to bless me in my anointing and in my calling.

He is going to show me his ways and guide me in all truth and wisdom.

I am going to meditate on him day and night and then He will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success.

What you have to do is learn to think and meditate on the level of our anointing.

This requires you to find out what that is.

We all have an anointing, it is not just for preachers and prophets.

Learn to think out of the anointing that God has put on you.

Don't tell yourself you can't, or it won't, or it's not going to happen, or there is not way!

When you are thinking on the level of the anointing that is on your life and that is where you must live! That mean you are going to dwell there. That means you must move there. Step out, go forward and have your being there because that is who you are!

We see things not everybody else sees and if you change your mind you will change your life.

Declaration:

"I will find myself in God's Word. I will declare that is Me!

How to win the battle of the mind. 2Corinthians 10:4-5.

Any time you have a thought, question the source. Say to yourself, "Where did this originate? And where will this take me?

Our weapons are mighty for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing or thought that brings itself against the knowledge of God. Then bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

You are bringing every thought into obedience of Christ (the Anointed One). We bring every thought into obedience of the Anointing. When you are functioning on the level of your anointing you will bring every thought under the power of that anointing.

Ask yourself, "Does this fit with my anointing?" "Does this go with my anointing?"

"Does this fit with who I am in Christ Jesus?"

Declare:

"I am who God says I am, I have what God says I can have, I can do what God says I can do!

The Greater One lives on the inside of Me!

Righteousness, peace and joy rule and reign in my life!

My mind is under the submission of the Holy Spirit!

I am walking in my anointing!

I am called, I am destined, I am chosen, I am talented, I am anointed, I am on fire for God!

Good things are happening to me!

My future is so bright I need to wear sun glass because of the brightness of my future!

God has plans for me!

God has purpose for me!

God has a calling for me!

I am who God says I am!

I will do what God says I can do!

I will be who I am supposed to be!

The devil is defeated, Jesus is Lord, and victory is ruling and reigning in my life!"Fruit comes from a root.

Anger was the root, rejection was the fruit in Moses' Life, Numbers Chapter 20.
